About the tour
The tour begins at the Institut de France / Academy Française on the Left Bank in the center of Paris with the fascinating story of one of King Louis XV's greatest "secrets." The tour continues for around 1 1/2 hours, depending on our pace of walk, mostly in the Saint-Germain-des-Près neighborhood. You will learn about ciphers and other means of spy craft, as well as discover the various heroes and heroines who made history due to their exploits.
